Chocolate Products Shipping Policy

DISCLAIMERWhile we will make every attempt to ensure your order arrives without melting, we make no guarantees. If you choose to place an order for chocolate products through our online store between October and April or if the temperature in your region is above 70 degrees, you do so at your own risk. We strive for perfection, but we cannot guarantee all of our products will arrive in perfect condition.

We DO NOT OFFER ice packs. All packages shipped with chocolate products are shipped WITHOUT ice packs.

We reserve the right to delay shipping during extreme weather conditions and during heatwave (above >75℉ ) conditions. We will ship your order as soon as the weather allows.If the temperature of the destination is too hot (well over 90 degrees), we might contact you and hold the order until it cools down a bit.

Please Note: Forminhas Boston is not responsible for melting or other damage caused by heat exposure during shipping.Please note: Shipping may be delayed to protect your chocolate products. If necessary, we’ll hold your order in our temperature-controlled warehouse to avoid additional transit time over the weekend. If you need your order delivered by a specific date, please add a note at checkout or contact us so we can ensure your order arrives in time.

SHIPPING DAYS

Your Package will be shipped through USPS Priority Mail from MASSACHUSETTS. During Fall and Winter (October-April), we ship ONLY Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays each week, to ensure packages do not sit in USPS warehouses over the weekend.This allows for optimal freshness using USPS Priority Mail usually takes 2–3 business days.If you place your order Thursday -Sunday, these orders will be shipped on the following Monday.We do not ship on national holidays.

SHIPPING ADDRESS

We recommend that you ship your chocolate to an address where someone will be available to accept your shipment. We are not responsible for packages left outside after delivery where chocolate may melt.TIP:Shipping to business addresses: Whenever possible, we highly recommend shipping to a business address rather than a residential address to help keep your package in a temperature controlled environment as long as possible.

RECOMMENDED FOR SHIPPING

Incorrect or Undeliverable AddressesPlease check all address information carefully. We want your recipient to receive their chocolates as much as you do. We are not responsible for packages returned due to incorrect or un-deliverable addresses. Should a package need to be re-shipped, a second shipping charge will apply, and we are unable to guarantee the quality of product that is re-shipped.
